Come check out The Starving Artists Project's debut at the Dumbo Arts Center tomorrow, Friday, January 27th from 12 to 6 p.m. The exhibit will showcase a collection of diverse, hand-drawn cardboard signs created by homeless New Yorkers with portraits of the artists by renowned photographer Andrew Zuckerman. Donations will be accepted with proceeds going to NYCCAH and Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen.

Fiber Artist Heather G. Stoltz tells the stories of homeless men, women and children through her installation piece, Temporary Shelter.

For the last two years, Stoltz has been interviewing men and women in New York's faith-based homeless shelters and translating their stories into visual fiber art panels that make up the interior walls of the structure.
